At the end of year 2, i went for a 3 months internship at Dialogue in the Dark, a social enterprise that helps to spread awareness about the blind.
I decided to approach them for an internship opportunity because i have decided that i wanted to do a project for the blind for my final year project in year 3. I thought nothing could be better than spending 3 months working side by side and getting to understand them better.
Working with blind colleagues, i have observed and gained many insights on their feelings, behavior, needs and wants. I am prepared and certain that these insights would allow me to better design for them in year 3.

Story of Ollie the Mascot
I was tasked to design a dog as Dialogue and the Dark’s Mascot and produce a story of how the dog came about. I drew a digital story book with voice-overs of the story of Ollie. These are some of the pages of the story book.
Tactile Paving Game
I redesigned my year 1 project where i teach children about tactile paving. This is a large scale and completely redesigned version of my year 1 project.
